From Audioslave to The Most Terrifying Thing....

BAND HISTORY
The band got together in early 2001 and were originally called Audioslave. The band emerged from the ashes of Liverpool's Freakhealer, which Chris, Paul and earlier Masso had been members of. Glenn, the North-Eastern-Bass-Player made it four and once permanent rehearsal space was sorted, songwriting began in earnest in March 2001 (Wherever Earnest is!)

The original Audioslave sound was unleased upon the Merseyside live audiences on July 27th 2001at The Zanzibar and the band have ping-ponged between there,The Lomax and The Barfly during 2001/02 including a very enjoyable Northern dates tour for TRANSIT

After rumours reached us that an American 'Supergroup' consisting RATM and Chris Cornell were eyeing up the name, we were contacted by Chris Cornell's lawyers and came to an agreement whereby both bands could use the name. However, not wanting to be confused with the US version, the band decided on a new name altogether

Now armed with a new name we will be continuing to make music and will shortly launch an all new site filled with goodies....?
